As usual, a bad beat determined the outcome this evening - AND a new member of the crew placed in the money. Some things never change.
Too Eager was near the chip lead with 5 players left when the flop gave him a straight - and kanuck two pair. After a flurry of shoving chips into the middle, the river paired the board - made the boat for kanuck and sent Jeff's flopped straight to the rails. Quite a tough cooler.
No one could match the power that the accumulated lucky stack that Kanuck had - and the tournament was pretty much over shortly after.
Scott Kopp joined the crew this go around and made a couple of very well timed bluffs to wrestle his way into the money at 3rd place.
