League Rules
Seasons:
Each season will consist of 10 games. 6 $11 NLHE tournaments, 2 $21 NLHE tournaments, and 2 $11 wildcard tournaments. These could be anything from Omaha to Razz to HORSE to heads-up to whatever suits my fancy.
Point system:
We use a derivative of the Pokerstars system for tracking leaderboard points. At the end of the ten game season your best eight games will be calculated and your worst two will be dropped (including zeros for not showing up).
The formula for assigning points is 10*(SQRT(P)/SQRT(R))*(1+LOG(B+0.25))
P = Number of players
R = Rank in tournament
B = Buy-in without fee
I know I know ... it looks stupidly complicated but I ran a number of point systems through the ringer trying to decide which one to use and this one seemed to be the most fair. In one of our average games of 12 players and a $6 buy-in, 1st would get 59.6, 2nd gets 42.1, 3rd gets 34.4 and it continues to produce diminishing returns until the last place person who gets 17.2

Tournament Rules
Each player receives 1,000 chips for their buy-in. You are eliminated from the tournament when you lose all of your chips. The tournament will not stop until one player holds all of the chips.
During the first three levels of the tournament you may "rebuy" once at any time when your stack equals 500 or less. Rebuys may not occur in the middle of a hand.
Please reserve your seat in advance.
If you have reserved a seat but do not arrive in time, your blinds will be posted in your absence. After one hour your chips will be removed from the table.
Bring your own drinks & snacks. The card rooms are all non-smoking environments.
Please show up 15 minutes early to deposit your buy-in and receive your chips.
