Tournament #1 Results!
Hosted by Rhino. Don't know if the buy-ins are all correct, let me know if they're not and I'll update them. Because Pat and Si decided to split the pot they will split 1st and 2nd place points

Pat Fish Strikes!
Well done boys for a good game last night.

For those who missed it. It was 5 buy in tournament style.

Things pretty much began like they did in the first game: Jut ALL IN on every hand before the flop, me on my 3rd rebuy by the 4th hand had been dealt. This time Jut's extreme poker got everyone involved for some massive multi-way pots in the first 5 or 6 hands, which in turn gave Si (who took down at least 4 of those pots) a gigantic chip lead and it looked like, even at that stage, that we had a clear winner. This was until Pat Fish got over his initial pot debilitated early performance, put down his notebook and played some very good hands. Si's chip lead was crumbling. One by one the rest of us dropped out and it was down to these 2 for the final few hands.

If I remember correctly it came down to Si's 2 pair against Pat's straight that he hit on the turn. Then, as it was a school night and it was getting late, the two decided to magnanimously split the pot for a tied 1st place.

Many thanks to Rhino for hosting (and to Abi for cooking up a nibble storm). See the table for the standings and bring on the next.
