Ideas for the Four Kings 2008 Season
Four Kings Poker Players,
I'd like to get a few more people in the league and also to have it on a regular basis. I was wondering what you thought about one Saturday night a month for the 2008 season. Maybe we could get some ladies in the action as I know Sara (or is it Sarah) plays and Brice is trying to get Jackie involved. Mark has expressed interest in having a session at his house and I know Brice plays in his home also. The league I set up can have multiple locations to play (I just select it when setting up the tourney). I like the reserve system as we know how many are coming. Last year I started off trying to have one once a month but if we move it around then maybe that will be easier. We are getting about 40% turnout from the list of 16. We could always do two table touneys and I would be open to suggestions on the structure.
Other ideas:
Some of the other things I thought of were a heads up touney.
An end of the year invitational for the top players.
Have blackjack available for those players that drop out early to give them something to do before the next game starts.
